As an RnB artist navigating through all my hardships and challenges, I’ve managed to develop my technical skills by creating my own sound and vibe, with emphasis on unique, one of a kind creativity in terms of music. I truly enjoy the grind of making something new and classic.

Having to juggle between being in the Sheet Metal Union, being an entrepreneur, and an RnB artist takes up a lot of time, energy and heart. I adapted to maneuvering within the struggle of trying to stand out above thousands of other RnB artists by staying focused and persistent. Throughout this I have seen some success but I know within my heart that the best is yet to come!

My proudest achievement up to date is having turned my ideas and imagination into something. Despite all the challenges that I have endured throughout the years, I always get back up and keep pushing for the finishing line while keeping the same enthusiasm that I have from when I first started this process.

Coming from a poverty-stricken area, I managed to grow above and beyond my environment. I understand that there is more to life than just the neighborhood that I grew up in. I lived the life .

Over the years I have managed to develop my musical skills to be on par with current commercial/mainstream sound. Aside from that, having to be an up and coming RnB artist I am forced to manage myself which helps me gain some experience outside of creating music such as knowing the importance of outsourcing and a little bit about the importance of personal branding. I believe once the proper marketing is teamed with my music it will push the brand of Drae Singleton to unmeasurable heights. I’m looking forward to leaving a big foot print, not just as an artist but as a musician and a positive influential person.
